Reflexive verbs

Verbtime uses the rules listed here to build reflexive verbs.

Verbtime recognises reflexive verbs from the syntax: zich + verb, e.g. "zich wassen" => "ik heb me gewassen".
Reflexive verbs are always built using the auxiliary verb "hebben", e.g. "hij heeft zich herinnerd".
Verbtime always builds the reflexive verbs like real reflexive verbs, which means "ik => me", "jij => je", "hij => zich" and so on.
With real reflexive verbs the reflexive pronoun and the personal pronoun are always referring to the same person, e.g. "ik herinner me", but not "ik herinner ons". With unreal reflexive verbs, the person can differ, for example "ik was me", "ik was je", and so on.

        Singular II    Pers Pron + [verb] + je
        Singular III   Pers Pron + [verb] + zich
        Plural I       Pers Pron + [verb] + ons
        Plural II      Pers Pron + [verb] + je
        Plural III     Pers Pron + [verb] + zich

Example: Indicative Past, Singular II of "zich wassen" = "jij wast je"

        Plural III     Pers Pron + [hebben] + zich + Voltooid deelwoord / Past Participle (verb)

Example: Indicative Present Perfect, Singular II of "sich wassen" = "jij hebt je gewassen"
